Builders reviewing construction plans on a timber framed site, highlighting teamwork, planning accuracy, and professional construction management.

Health & Safety

Two builders assessing framing for a new build home, guiding construction projects through planning, building construction checks, building inspection report needs, and ensuring the architectural plans suit an architecturally designed home.

Health & Safety Is A Fundamental Part Of The BP Culture

All practicable steps are taken to ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders. The highest quality equipment is provided to our staff, along with rigorous on-site management to ensure the correct use of plant, equipment, and co-ordination across commercial construction, aged care construction and new build homes. All BP staff are provided with high-quality personal protective equipment, new employees are required to undertake inductions, and monthly monitoring and training ensures consistent performance across all projects.

Maintaining The Highest Standards On Every Site

A high emphasis is put on all site attendees undertaking site inductions. Subcontractor Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) are submitted and approved prior to works commencing on refurbishment, commercial fit out and architectural homes projects. Site hazard identification, controlling and notifying, transparency and awareness, event reporting and analysis. An open attitude to always ‘be better’ are key aspects of the BP Construction health and safety process.

We engage an independent Health and Safety Consultant to monitor our performance and provide in-house training and advice across all renovations and new build developments.

We hold the Gold Site Wise accreditation. Our full Health and Safety manual is available on request.
